- Choose the type of visa and complete the online France Visas form to obtain the personalized list of required credentials according to each situation.
- View the list of documents.
- Print the France Visas form and the receipt. These documents will be requested when you submit your visa application to the TLScontact centre.
Step 2 – Create a TLScontact account https://fr.tlscontact.com/tn/tun/index.php and make an appointment with the Visa Center
- Create a TLScontact account by entering your personal email address and password
- Enter the additional information needed to process your request. If you would like a group meeting with others, indicate which ones.
- Select a day and time at your convenience to submit your visa application to the TLScontact Centre.
Do not forget to print your invitation, it will be requested at the reception.
Step 3 – File Preparation
Follow the instructions mentioned on the France Visas website, carefully prepare all the requested documents and file them in the order indicated.
Do not forget to print the France Visas form and the receipt. The applicant in person must sign the form.
Step 4 – File Filing
Please note that your visa application must be filed in person at the visa centre unless you are exempt from biometrics.
It is imperative that you arrive on time for your appointment, with your appointment confirmation and the documents required for your visa application.
Attention: If you are late for your appointment, you may not be received on the same day and you will need to reschedule.
If you do not show up for your appointment, please note that you will need to create a new account on the TLScontact site in order to make a new appointment.
Biometrics Exemption Cases:
- Children under 12 years of age.
- Applicants who have already obtained a Visa bearing the endorsement (VIS) during the last 59 months.
NB: If « VIS 0 » is entered on the last Schengen visa sticker, this means that only the alphanumeric data and the photograph have been collected, but not the fingerprints. The applicant is therefore required to appear in person in order to submit biometric data.
Step 5 – Request Processing and Fingerprinting
When you submit your visa application to the contact TLS centre, you will be taken care of by an agent who will check that all the documents necessary for your application are present in your file. A summary sheet will be provided.
If your file is complete, your request will be forwarded to the Consulate.
If documents are missing or do not meet the requirements of the Consulate General of France, you can:
– Ask to submit the application anyway, at the risk of losing the visa application fee and being refused by the Consulate;
– Or withdraw your application and recover the visa application fee. You will be able to submit a complete application later.
If you decide to send your file to the Consulate, you will proceed, after payment of the fee, to deposit your biometric data directly with the TLScontact centre.
Step 6 – Return of Passport
As soon as the Consulate has processed your visa application, you will receive an SMS and an email informing you that your passport is ready to be removed at the TLScontact Centre. You can also contact the TLScontact Call Centre to find out the status of your request.
Step 7 – Return Passport
To fetch your passport, you must go to the TLScontact centre with the summary card, the original and the copy of your identity card.
If you want a third party to come and fetch your passport for you, it must be provided with:
- A written authorization from you certified by the Town Hall.
- The summary sheet.
- Identity cards of both parties, originals and copies.
To withdraw a minor’s passport, proof of parentage (= family or birth certificate) must be presented.
