1) For “IT” Serial – Temporary Traffic Card
In which cases is that?
- Vehicles manufactured or mounted in Tunisia and intended for export.
- New imported vehicles (not registered abroad).
- Vehicles registered in one of the special series assigned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and intended for sale to be registered in one of the normal series.
The requested documents
- Application made on a printout issued by the ATTT.
- A copy of the document(s) certifying the legal ownership of the vehicle.
- A certificate of identification or a document indicating the technical characteristics of the vehicle.
- A certificate for registration in the temporary series” IT” issued by the customs services.
- A slip for the transmission of the registration file by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for vehicles intended for sale and registered in one of the special series assigned by that Ministry.
The temporary traffic card IT is valid for 2 months.

2) For “WW” Serial Traffic Card
In which cases is that?
- Dealer or vehicle manufacturer, importer, exhibitor, bodybuilder, transporter.
- Vehicle intended for exhibition, testing or transfer between the manufacturing or assembly plant, the place of importation, the dealer’s garage, specialized workshops for the bodywork of vehicles, the place of administrative control and the residence of the purchaser.
The requested documents
- Application handled by the concerned person.
- A copy of the document(s) indicating the applicant’s activity.
- The old circulation card in case of renewal.
- Receipt of Duties or Certificate of Exemption.
Fees
- 140 TND (valid for 1 year).
- 40 TND (for the duplicate of a provisional card).
To be noted
- WW Temporary Traffic Cards are not issued to dealer sales representatives.
- These cards shall not be used for testing repaired vehicles.
- The vehicle may only carry passengers and equipment designated by the holder of the traffic card, the names and qualities of the passengers carried and the list of equipment must be entered on a document signed by the holder of the traffic card and placed on board.
