Re-registration of a Tunisian vehicle to a Tunisian series vehicle
The re-registration is done in the case of the purchase of a vehicle registered with:
- A special series (CD, PAT, CMD, etc.).
- An RS series.
- An IT series.
The requested documents
- Application for registration of a vehicle presented on a printout issued by the ATTT.
- The original of the old Tunisian registration certificate.
- The document(s) justifying the legal ownership of the vehicle.
- An identification certificate issued by a technical visit center for less than one month.
- The original of the certificate provided by the Customs services for the registration of the vehicle in a Tunisian series.
- A receipt for the filing of the personal income tax return or corporation tax return in respect of the regulations in force.
- Duty Release or Waiver.
File to be completed for commercial vehicles, vehicles intended for the transport of persons (greater than 9, including driver), tricycles and motor quadricycles:
- A statement of the unladen weight if this weight is not indicated on the registration certificate.
File to be completed for exceptional transport vehicles:
- Single approval report for vehicles intended for exceptional transport, issued by the ATTT.
File to be completed for vehicles registered abroad and equipped with LPG or CNG:
- Presentation of a certificate issued by the specialized services of the ATTT indicating that the installation complies with the regulations in force. This certificate shall be drawn up in accordance with a model provided by the ATTT.
